CNA POSITION OPENING

The Hancock County Health Department Home Health division is in search of a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). CNA will assist patients with personal tasks such as bathing, grooming, making beds and light housekeeping. Must be CPR certified and have dependable transportation. Scheduled hours are usually between 8 am and 4 pm Monday through Friday. TEMPORARY DENTAL ASSISTANT

The Hancock County Health Department is seeking a TEMPORARY (Time-Frame is Immediately thru March 15, 2018).  The Dental Assistant to work side-by-side with our dentist. They are sometimes responsible for scheduling appointments, keeping records and taking images. Dental Assistants are also responsible for sterilizing dental equipment and making sure that patients are comfortable. Dental Assistants prepare patients for dental procedures and are usually in charge of performing work like coronal polishing, sealant application, fluoride application if certified. Assistants must be detail-oriented and exhibit good communication skills because they will be working directly with the public.  Also, applicant must have dependable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance.  Interested persons may stop by our agency to fill out an application.
